The Mogoya project is an initiative of PLACE e.V. in partnership with the Goethe Institute Mannheim to support the process of professional integration of African youth worldwide. The project aims to provide a safe and empowering environment where young Africans can learn from each other and develop a strong network of employable skills. The Mogoya project’s offerings respond to the problem of low employment among African youth, who represent about 60% of the population. As humanity needs to meet its basic needs, (food, care, education, security, housing) our project calls for mutual aid in the learning of the youngest in their professional integration process and emphasizes the importance of dependence between humans to build a sustainable community with people who are easy to live with. The vision of the “Mogoya Project” is therefore to train young people who acquire a strong sense of their own identity and place in the world through language courses and empowerment workshops.
